Madrigals has been around since the 1960's with generations of students and their parents taking part in it. It is a La Jolla school tradition and brings pride to La Jolla High School by taking part in community functions such as local lunch-ins. Madrigals is the most advanced choir at La Jolla High  School. We sing live every year the KUSI songs of the Holiday season special which represented our school's performing arts abilities. Madrigals have won the Holiday Bowl National Anthem choir contest and recorded our own CD.

Holiday Bowl 2006

Once the flag is rolled out then Madrigals sings the National Anthem (more than half way through video). No clue who these people who filmed are, but thanks to them we have a video of the Holiday Bowl. The game before us had ran late so Madrigals was not aired on the Nation wide Holiday Bowl broadcast.
